These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Untamed Community website (www.untamedcommunity.com) and the Untamed Actor Directory (“the Directory”), operated under the name “Untamed” (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing the website, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

PART A – UNTAMED ACTOR DIRECTORY TERMS

1. Purpose of the Directory

The Untamed Actor Directory exists to support performers who live in, or have a reliable professional base within, the West Midlands, by providing a platform where they can present professional profiles and be contacted by casting directors, producers, directors, photographers and other creative professionals.

The Directory is a facilitating platform only. Untamed does not act as an agent, casting director, employer, manager, or representative for any user and does not guarantee auditions, work, or outcomes.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

2.1 Membership is open to performers aged 18 and over only.
2.2 By registering, users confirm that they meet the age requirement and that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. Regional Requirement

3.1 The Directory is intended for performers who live in, or maintain a genuine and reliable professional base within, the West Midlands.
3.2 By purchasing membership, users confirm the accuracy of their stated location or regional base.
3.3 Untamed reserves the right to remove or suspend profiles and/or terminate membership without refund if a user is found not to meet this requirement.

4. Membership, Fees & Refunds

4.1 Membership fees contribute to the administration, maintenance and development of the Directory and wider community activity.
4.2 All fees are non-refundable, including where:

a user chooses to leave the Directory,
a profile is removed for breach of these Terms,
a user is found to be ineligible.
4.3 Untamed reserves the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Professional Eligibility

5.1 The Directory is intended for professional and emerging professional performers.

5.2 To be eligible for membership, users must demonstrate at least one of the following:

a) recognised professional acting or performance training (including but not limited to drama school, accredited screen or stage training programmes), and/or
b) at least one professional performance credit in film, television, theatre, commercial, or equivalent professional production.

5.3 By registering and maintaining a profile, users confirm that the information provided regarding their training and professional experience is accurate and not misleading.

5.4 Untamed reserves the right to request clarification or evidence of training and/or professional credits and to suspend or remove profiles, and/or terminate membership without refund, where eligibility requirements are not met or information is found to be false or materially misleading.

6. User Profiles & Content

5.1 Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and ownership of all information, images and materials uploaded to their profile.
5.2 By submitting content, users grant Untamed a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that material for the purposes of operating and promoting the Directory.
5.3 Untamed may edit, hide or remove content that is misleading, inappropriate, discriminatory, offensive, or damaging to the purpose or reputation of the platform.

7. Contact & Engagement

6.1 By joining, users acknowledge that they are choosing to be contactable by industry professionals.
6.2 All contact and professional engagement is undertaken independently between parties.
6.3 Untamed does not verify opportunities, mediate disputes, or take responsibility for agreements made.

8. Respect for Performer Boundaries

7.1 Casting professionals must respect the preferences stated on performers’ profiles, including the type and level of work they are open to (for example: paid, unpaid, student or passion projects).
7.2 Disregard for these preferences or misuse of the platform may result in removal of access.

9. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

The Directory is committed to inclusive, equitable and anti-discriminatory practice.

All demographic information provided by users (including but not limited to ethnicity, gender identity, disability and neurodivergence) is self-identified and entirely optional. This information is collected and displayed (where users choose to make it visible) for the purpose of supporting fair representation, access and inclusive casting.

Casting professionals and other users must engage with this information respectfully and responsibly. Any misuse of demographic data, discriminatory conduct, or behaviour that undermines the safety, dignity or equality of users may result in removal from the platform without refund.

10. Zero Tolerance Policy

8.1 Untamed operates a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, discrimination, exploitation, or abusive behaviour.
8.2 Breaches may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

11. Cancellation & Account Deletion

9.1 Users may cancel their membership and request deletion of their account at any time by contacting Untamed at [insert email].
9.2 Upon cancellation:

The performer’s profile will be removed from public view.
Access to member services will cease.
Personal data will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, financial or safeguarding purposes.
9.3 Membership fees are non-refundable and no partial refunds will be issued for unused time.
9.4 A minimal record (such as name, email and payment history) may be retained for compliance and audit purposes.
9.5 The same provisions apply where membership is terminated by Untamed due to breach of these Terms.

12. Liability

10.1 Use of the Directory is at the user’s own discretion and risk.
10.2 Untamed is not liable for:

actions of third parties,
outcomes of auditions or engagements,
financial loss, injury, or reputational harm arising from independently arranged work.
10.3 Users are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence.

13. Suspension & Termination

Untamed may suspend or terminate access where a user:

breaches these Terms,
provides false information,
undermines the safety, integrity or purpose of the Directory.

14. Changes to These Terms

Untamed may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

PART B – GENERAL WEBSITE TERMS

Cookies

We use essential cookies for website functionality and security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of Untamed unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

User-Generated Content

Users warrant that any content they post:

is lawful and original,
does not infringe third-party rights,
is not defamatory, abusive, or offensive.
Untamed reserves the right to remove content that breaches these standards.

Hyperlinking & Framing

Links may be made to the website provided they are not misleading and do not imply endorsement. Framing of the site is not permitted without written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
